special canine companion who loves spending time with us and his own canine companions.
Let’s give a warm round of a-paws to the June 2020 Dog of the Month: Sam! We
interviewed Mr. Sam’s humans to learn more about what makes this pup so special.
Q: Does Sam have any special nicknames?
A: Sam doesn’t have any nicknames.
Q: When is his birthday, and how do you celebrate it?
A: 1/16/15, he usually gets a new toy
Q: How did Sam become a member of your family?
A: We got him from a family in Krum, Texas on a snowy day in 2015. My husband is 6’5” so he’s a big guy, and so he picked the biggest puppy.
Q: How old was she when she joined your family?
A: 6 weeks old.
Q: How would you describe Sam’s personality in five words?
A: Sweet, trouble, friendly, curious, crazy
Q: What is his favorite food, treat, toy or other thing?
A: Sam has never met food he doesn’t like..but is a sucker for cheese & peanut butter. Or anything in the trash can. He’s swallowed his fair share of socks as well & lived to tell the tale.
Q: What is the cutest, smartest or most interesting thing Sam does?
A: When I was pregnant and we would go on walks, he would always be between me & anyone we passed. He was super protective and knew something was going on.
Q: What is his favorite thing about PawHootz Pet Resort?
A: I think he loves getting all the attention from the people more than playing with the dogs. I love that he comes home exhausted!
