special canine companion who loves spending time with us and her canine companions.
Let’s give a warm round of a-paws to the January 2022 Pal of the Month: Nala! We
interviewed Nala’s humans to learn more about what makes this pup so special.
Q: What is your dogs name and do they have any special nicknames?
A: Nala
Q: When is her birthday and how do you celebrate it?
A: August 11, 2010. If she’s lucky she celebrates it at Paw Hootz where Cindy spoils her.
Q: How did Nala become a member of your family?
A: We chose Nala from a breeder in Missouri. Nala was sent to us on American airlines and we picked her up at DFW. Nala is our 5th blond Lab in 45 years of marriage. Her predecessors were Liebe, Nolan & Ryan, and Emmy.
Q: How old was she when she joined your family?
A: 4 months.
Q: How would you describe Nala’s personality in five words?
A: The Queen, spoiled.
Q: What is her favorite food, treat, toy or other thing?
A: Anything that drops on the floor; she’s a lab, she’ll eat anything!
Q: What is the cutest, smartest or most interesting thing Nala does?
A: Swims with the grandkids then gets out and races around the yard and plays slip and slide.
Q: What is her favorite thing about PawHootz Pet Resort?
A: All the attention she gets especially from Cindy.
