Let’s give a warm round of a-paws to the July 2020 Pal of the Month: Hazel! We
interviewed Ms. Hazel’s humans to learn more about what makes this pup so special.
Q: Does Hazel have any special nicknames?
A: Mia, Sister, Hazel Basil, Hurricane Hazel, Mia Mia Pizzeria
Q: When is her birthday, and how do you celebrate it?
A: July 8, 2018 – we celebrate with toys & treats
Q: How did Hazel become a member of your family?
A: We found her on Craigslist from a family in the DFW area
Q: How old was she when she joined your family?
A: 8 weeks old
Q: How would you describe Hazel’s personality in five words?
A: Exuberant, Sweet, Rowdy, Smart, Curious
Q: What is her favorite food, treat, toy or other thing?
A: She loves and plays with all of her toys. Her favorite food is a tie with fresh-cut veggies and peanut butter!
Q: What is the cutest, smartest or most interesting thing Hazel does?
A: Definitely when she throws her toys in the air or how serious she takes burying bones (In the couch and outside).
Q: What is her favorite thing about PawHootz Pet Resort?
A: Hazel loves her friends at Animal America! Her parents’ favorite thing is how well she interacts with the staff and the pure joy she displays upon arrival. Hazel runs to the door whenever we say “wanna go to daycare?” and that really warms our hearts! We couldn’t imagine life without this bundle of energy!
