special canine companion who loves spending time with us and her own canine companions.
Let’s give a warm round of a-paws to the May 2020 Dog of the Month: Kelly! We
interviewed Ms. Kelly’s humans to learn more about what makes this pup so special.
Q: Does Kelly have any special nicknames?
A: Kelly or pretty Kelly-girl
Q: When is her birthday, and how do you celebrate it?
A: April 9, 2018, we have a birthday party for her with a doggie cake and presents!
Q: How did Kelly become a member of your family?
A: Our granddaughter, Taryn made honor-roll every report card ever and she asked for a dog. We found Kelly at “Red River Border Collies” in Gainsville, TX
Q: How old was she when she joined your family?
A: 8 Weeks old
Q: How would you describe Kelly’s personality in five words?
A: Loving, energetic, funny, loyal, and brilliant, sometimes bossy! Oh, and pretty!
Q: What is her favorite food, treat, toy or other thing?
A: Her favorite food/treat is steak and her favorite toys are Frisbees or balls she loves to run.
Q: What is the cutest, smartest or most interesting thing Kelly does?
A: She knows what we’re talking about most of the time. We can’t even spell B-A-T-H or she will hide.
Q: What is her favorite thing about PawHootz Pet Resort?
A: The staff of course! It means so much to find a group of folks I can completely trust to care for our Kelly. Kelly loves the staff also and all the activities!
