October Pal of the Month: An Exclusive Interview with Evie

This October, our PawHootz Pal of the Month is none other than the fabulous feline, Evangeline Lilith-Grace Fitzgerald — but you can call her Evie. Or Evie Mama. Or Ebe Ebe. Honestly, she answers to all of them (as long as treats are involved). We sat down with this sweet, sassy, and stubborn queen herself to get the inside scoop on her royal life.

A Name Fit for Royalty

PawHootz: What’s your full name, and do you go by any nicknames?
Evie: Evangeline Lilith-Grace Fitzgerald, thank you very much. But my friends call me Evie. Some days it’s “Evie Mama,” other days “Ebe Ebe.” I don’t mind — as long as I’m being adored.

Birthday Bliss

PawHootz: When’s your birthday, and how do you celebrate?
Evie: I was born on July 3rd — yes, I’m a Cancer ♋️, which explains my big personality and love for cozy cuddles. Birthday celebrations usually involve extra treats, naps in the sunshine, and all the attention I deserve.

How Evie Joined Her Family

PawHootz: How did you find your fur-ever home?
Evie: A friend’s cat had kittens, and I was the last one left waiting for a family. Their loss — because I turned out to be the sweetest! Lucky for me, my human knew I was meant to be theirs.

 

Personality in Three Words

PawHootz: What three words best describe you?
Evie: Sweet. Sassy. Stubborn. (Yes, all three can happen in the same five minutes.)

Favorites: Treats, Toys, and Activities

PawHootz: Tell us your favorites — treats, toys, and activities!
Evie: My favorite snack is pumpkin — yum! For toys, I’m obsessed with springs. And as for activities, you can usually find me sunbathing in my window bed or perched like royalty, watching all the cats stroll by downtown.

Quirks and Tricks

PawHootz: Do you have any quirky habits or special tricks?
Evie: Oh, absolutely. I take bedtime very seriously. If my human is talking too loudly, I pretend to sleep as a polite “shhh.” If they dare sing a song I don’t approve of, I pull the same trick. It’s my way of keeping the household in order.

What Evie Loves About PawHootz

PawHootz: What do you enjoy most about PawHootz?
Evie: The love, of course — and the catio! I used to be scared of the outdoors, but the wonderful team here made me feel so comfortable. Now I strut out there like I own the place.

Superstar Status

PawHootz: Anything else we should know about you, superstar?
Evie: Did I mention I’m a former PawHootz Prom Queen? Being October’s Pal of the Month is just another jewel in my crown. I’m honored — but let’s be honest, I always knew I was fabulous.
