Chewnior (level 3 class):
For Chewnior classes, you will meet again with Salem Luethy – our lead dog trainer here at PawHootz! She is a behavior specialist and an AKC evaluator with years of experience.
At this stage, you will work to build and enhance the tricks and skills you and your pup practiced during Fetchman and Barkmore classes. This class is also the last class before receiving CGC certification (Senfur)! Repetition is key to learning!
You and your pup will go over:
- Loose leash walking
- Leave it – ignoring distractions
- Self soothing – getting your dog to calm down
- Down/sit – with added distance and distractions to test
- CGC practice – accepting a friendly stranger, sitting, appearance and grooming, loose leash, walking through a crowd, sit and down on cue (staying in place), coming when called, reaction to other dogs, reaction to distractions, and supervised separation.
Class starts @ 6 PM – 6:45 PM.
