barkmore (level 2 class):
For Barkmore classes, you will meet again with Salem Luethy – our lead dog trainer here at PawHootz! She is a behavior specialist and an AKC evaluator with years of experience.
At this stage, you will work to build and enhance the tricks and skills you and your pup practiced during Fetchman classes. Additionally, you and your pup will learn more complex techniques. Repetition is key to learning!
You and your pup will go over:
- Self soothing – getting your dog to calm down
- Loose leash walking
- Leave it – ignoring distractions
- Drop it
- Place – introduces negative cues
- Recall and release cues
- Cooperative care
- Door manners and relaxing
Class starts @ 6 PM – 6:45 PM.
