At PawHootz Pet Resort, we make lots of furry friends! This month, we’re going to showcase a
special canine companion who loves spending time with us and her own canine companions.
Let’s give a warm round of a-paws to the December 2020 Pal of the Month: Abby! We
interviewed Ms. Abby’s humans to learn more about what makes this pup so special.
Q: Does Abby have any special nicknames?
A: Abilene Josephine McKay (Abby)
Q: When is her birthday, and how do you celebrate it?
A: November 10. Celebrated her birthday with a special hat and photoshoot! Every day is a celebration as far as Abby is concerned!
Q: How did Abby become a member of your family?
A: Abby was a Christmas present, Christmas 2018. Best Christmas present ever.
Q: How old was she when she joined your family?
A: Abby was a baby! Only 6 weeks old!
Q: How would you describe Abby’s personality in five words?
A: Sweet, playful, happy, curious, loving!!!!!!!
Q: What is her favorite food, treat, toy or other thing?
A: String cheese is favorite food, yellow tennis ball is favorite toy, I am her favorite thing in the whole world!
Q: What is the cutest, smartest or most interesting thing Abby does?
A: Abby loves bedtime. Jumps into bed (our bed) wiggles, stretches, snuggles then falls asleep in an instant. Abby loves when her daddy (my husband) comes home from work. She meets him at the door, barks, wiggles, cries and whines like he has been gone forever. Abby and her brother, Brady are from the same litter. When they visit each other, they become like baby puppies again, running together, playing together, barking together, chasing each other everywhere. So fun to watch.
Q: What is her favorite thing about PawHootz Pet Resort?
A: Abby loves all the people at Pawhootz. She is so happy when I turn into the parking lot and she realizes where she is! She can’t wait to get out of the car!
